CONFIRMATORY NOTES ON THE DISCUSSION FOR THE IMPENDING BARBEQUE OF THE REUNION OF CLUB 12/68 FOR THE YEAR 2018 HELD ON 07 APRIL 2018 AT THE BANGI GOLF RESORT

 

 

 

This is a Confirmatory Notes on the discussion held on 07 Apr 2018.  In attendance were:

The Chairman welcomed all present and explained that since many were involved in the AIM Golf Open Championship just concluded, he took the opportunity to discuss an itinerary that was included in earlier discussions, which is having a barbeque in the month of April 2018.
He explained that :
a.    A gathering of our intake members is scheduled for April 2018.
b.    A venue has been booked. It is to be at the poolside of the MINDEF Officers Mess.
c.    The caterer would be an in-house caterer.
d.    A menu would be decided after consultation with members. Marzuki Apai would be the liaison..

On further discussion it was decided that:
a.    It would be on 25 April 2018. A Wednesday. .
b.    The attire for the occasion would be ‘Smart Casual’
c.    .A band would be engaged to provide music.
d.    Our guests would include:
i.    10 members of our Seniors.
ii.    5 members of the Juniors.
It was reiterated that members are expected to bring along their wives. Likewise our guests would be expected to bring along their wives..
The Meeting concluded at about 2130 hrs.

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE CONDUCT OF THE AIM GOLF OPEN CHAMPIONSHIP 2018 AT THE BANGI GOLF RESORT – 07 APRIL 2018

Welcome to All
The AIM Golf Open Championship would be played on the 7th April 2018 at Bangi Golf Resort. It would tee- off at 2.00 pm. Other details for this championship would include:
a.    Registration:
i. A registration table would be set up at the foyer of the Golfers’ Terrace .
ii. Players are expected to register their names to the staff manning the Registration Table.
iii. On registering, players would be given a score card, a bag tag and a bag of goodies.
iv.  Players are expected to pay for the caddies (if requested at RM 75.00 per caddy) and a CHARITY  Bulls Eye (RM 50.00)
b.    A photograph session would be held at 1.45 pm followed immediately after by a briefing .
c.    Mode of Play: The game would be on a stableford scoring based on the System 36.
d.    The game will commence from a Shot-gun start from holes to be notified.. It would be initiated by a siren sound .
e.    Tee-off would be from the Blue Tee.
f.    Scoring would be done by a member of the flight. A player would not mark his own card.
g.    Markers will insert the total shots made by the player he is marking on the scorecard.
h.    Scorecards will be submitted to the staffs at the Registration table on completion of the game.
i.    Ensure that  all scorecards are signed by both the players and the markers before submission to the collecting staffs.
j.    Prizes. The champion would receive a Challenge Trophy ‘ The President’s Cup’ and a miniature. The challenge trophy need to be returned to the Secretariat and the miniature is for the champion to keep. Other then the trophy the winners will receive the following:
i.    Champion : RM 500.00.
ii.    Runner Up : RM 300.00
iii.    2nd Runner Up : RM 200.00.
iv.    Next 5 Winners: RM 100.00 each.
v.    Next 10 Winners:  RM 50.00 each.
k.    Hampers would also be conferred to others  then the Above
Dinner & Prize-Giving
It will commence at 7.30 pm at the Bilik Teratai at the Clubhouse.
